Slacker, slacker, SLACKER!

Yeah, well, sorry... :p

Not really been up to THAT much of interest, until tonight :)

I've now been confirmed as one of the DJs at the new night starting in April, in the Arches.
Church Of Noise.
The name is a complete coincidence, but I think it's a good omen ;)

The current plan is for it to be a monthly night, with three bands on from 9pm... Then a club night running from ~11:30pm until 3am.
Tentatively, I'll be opening up with another DJ taking over for an hour or so from about midnight. Then I'll finish off.
I imagine that this arrangement will change depending on crowd response.


In other news, I've now got three potential private hire games on at FireFight.
In reverse order of concrete-ness...

One of my mates who works at the Garage nightclub as a steward wants to bring 30 of his cohorts along for a day's play.
30 bouncers? With guns?
And some regular players who may well have been KBed in the past?
Should be a laugh.

A young lad of about 15 wants to bring 30 of HIS mates along. If all goes to plan, we'll use this opportunity to try out a VERY long game, with multiple objectives and rolling medics/spawns.

And finally...
A friend of mine works at a centre for "Trouble(d) Young People".
8 15 year olds from which are booked for a private hire game in March, along with three staff members.
Apparently, they need "A kick up the arse, and to learn some discipline."
This. Should. Be. Fun.
